The HMS Southwold was a Hunt Class destroyer launched in 1941. It had a net tonnage of 1,050 tons and was 86m long. This ship was sunk in 1942 after being hit by a mine and broke into two parts following an explosion in the engine room. Diving in HMS Southwold: The bow section may be found at a depth of 70m on its starboard side while the stern section may be found at a distance of 300m away from the bow section at a depth of 72m.
